King's Troop

Kings Troop logoKing's Troop is an online facebook community of men who want to share the great news of Jesus Christ with fellow blokes and mates. New members can either be added by admin or just simply visit King's Troop on Facebook and request to join. Once a member, you're free to post/comment and advertise events etc.

Its aim is to provide a noticeboard of events from simple straightforward friendship building activities to the next men's Alpha course and everything in between. Venue: Abbey Chapel, Bedford Place, Tavistock.

Please note the change in start time to 7pm.
We are trialling a slightly changed format
- Arrive at 7pm
- Talk starts at 7.15pm (30-40mins)
- Food starts at 7.55pm
Which gives us an opportunity to chat about the talk and any issues it may have raised over a relaxed meal. This month we have Reuben Crossley: "Living in Freedom".

Speaker: Anthony Adams (Chartered Accountant Retired): "Volunteering for the Farming Community Network, WHY!?"

Anthony is a retired chartered accountant who volunteers for the Farming Community Network which used to be known as the Farm Crisis Network, helping farms/farmers in times of trouble. He will bring someone from the FCN with him to talk about it all. Very important as Brexit looms and he will give his testimony and what drives him to volunteer.
