Easter Sunday Sunrise Service; 6.45am at the Pimple, Whitchurch Down.

RISEN: Please note: The usual Easter Monday evening RISEN service will not take place this year. (There have been a joyful ten "RISENS" where we have shared & celebrated together, but we felt it right this year to lay it down, and wait on the Lord. He may want to do a "new thing" - or it may be back! Thanks to everyone who has contributed over the years!)

If you would like to be on a distribution list for news of events across the churches, please email , and you will receive regular updates & info. Wishing all in TACT churches a blessed Easter from all our church leaders & reps.

"Care Cafe - for those experiencing loss"

Lower Hall, Tavistock Methodist Church, starting Tuesday 9th April 10.30-12 (& every second & fourth Tuesday thereafter)

This will be run & hosted by TMC and is for anyone at all who is grieving, has been bereaved, who is facing a life-limiting or terminal illness, or who is looking after someone who is seriously ill or dying - in short, for those experiencing loss. We are seeking to provide a safe, friendly environment where folk can have a cup of tea/coffee and a chat, perhaps with one of our volunteers or with other guests who may be going through a similar experience. Or just come to be quiet, in a safe friendly space.

We cannot offer counselling, but those helping will have completed an awareness course and can lend a compassionate listening ear. Please spread the word and mention to anyone you know who may like to come. Contact: .

"English Language Conversation Cafe"

5-7pm, Tuesdays, at the United Reformed Church, Russell St, Tavistock

Major Pam Smith from the Salvation Army is hosting a relaxed and fun conversation cafe for those seeking to improve their English. She is looking for volunteers to help host a table, to make tea and coffee and to bake cakes. The first conversation cafe ran very successfully on Tuesday 28th June and it is planned to run each Tuesday. Do get in touch with Pam if you would like to be involved - .

Easter Monday TACT "RISEN" song

‘Hallelujah is My Song' was written for, and first performed at, the Easter Monday ‘RISEN' event in 2014. Members of the original choir, who are all from local churches, have enjoyed making this recording. We hope you enjoy it - please feel free to share, and email links around.
