Thy Kingdom Come 2021
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
For encouragement to pray as part of this year's TKC, please see some great resources and wonderful short 3 minute talks by some inspiring speakers, including videos for each of the 10 days from Ascension Day (13th May) to Pentecost Sunday (23rd May 2021)
Archbishop Justin Welby also speaks about Thy Kingdom Come as part of the Lectio 365 prayer initiative, available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbdHQqIHXS8
Easter Monday TACT "RISEN" song
‘Hallelujah is My Song' was written for, and first performed at, the Easter Monday ‘RISEN' event in 2014.
As current restrictions meant we couldn't meet to sing it together again this year, members of the original choir, who are all from local churches, have enjoyed making this recording. We hope you enjoy it - please feel free to share, and email links around.
HE IS RISEN! HALLELUJAH!
Tavistock's own Virtual Christmas Choir
Over the Christmas period, members from TACT churches across the area joined together (virtually) to perform a special Christmas song written and arranged by Tracy Harding. You can see the result below (apologies for the flickering which will hopefully be resolved in future videos): -
