Intercession for our MPs
An invitation from Felicite Darwal: -
As a response to the pressing needs of our nation, I am coordinating a list of people who will commit to praying for our politicians. The aim will be for each MP to have three people praying for them, on a daily basis.
In prayer, I felt God communicate this plan to me, a significant part of which was a commitment to short but daily prayers. For example, along with bedtime prayers for one's own family.
Possible points for prayer could be:
- Prayer for wisdom
- Prayer for them to serve God's will in the nation
- Prayer for protection and courage to stand against negative forces in political life
If anyone wishes to give up this prayer commitment, it would be important for them to find a replacement for themselves, in order for the prayer to continue.
I would be grateful if those interested could contact me, with the name of the MP they have chosen to pray for, so that we can ensure that every MP is covered by three people praying for them. The three people do not need to meet each other for prayer.
