IN OUR SCHOOLS...
Open the Book - "Enabling every child to hear the story of the Bible at school in their primary years." The TACT 'Open the Book' team presents 15-minute assemblies of Bible stories, reflections and prayers in the Tavistock and the Mary Tavy & Brentor Primary Schools each week. We have 11 active members and 3 'reserves' serving the two schools. With more storytellers in the team we could approach a third school in the area and offer our services to them.
