Part-time Pastoral Worker (lay or ordained)
The Tavistock Circuit of the Methodist Church, based on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor, is seeking a part-time Pastoral Worker (lay or ordained) to exercise a ministry of care and mission outreach.
The successful candidate will have pastoral responsibility for specific churches and other responsibilities around the circuit depending on needs and skills.
Car owner and driver essential, as is an approachable and warm personality, ability to work with people of all ages and willingness to actively engage with the local communities.
30 hours per week, initially for two years to include a six month probationary period, commencing September 2021 or as soon after. Salary: £14,820 - £17,376 (depending on proven ability).
